Frequently asked questions

Managing your FMPG account

Go to the landing page of the website https://fundmypitchglobal.com

Enter the tab sign in on the top bar. You will be directed to a page where you enter the username/email ID and select if you are a Founder/Investor/Partner. An email link will be sent to your registered email ID. Follow the link and you can reset your password.

Login to your account and under the Profile Tab (at the right-hand top corner) you will find the option to change Password. Follow the instruction and you can change your password. It will be effective from your next login.

On the landing page, you can find the pricing tab. Click the tab and you will be directed to the pricing page. You can choose the period that fits your need and subscribe. Once payment is confirmed, your premium subscription will be effected.

On your founder’s page, the same link for subscription can be found under your profile tab (on the right-hand top corner) under ‘My Account’ and in the dashboard pane on the left as well.

Yes. You can cancel your subscription. Under your Profile → My Account → you will find the link to cancel your subscription. However, a refund will be effected only for an Annual subscription. For monthly/quarterly, there will not be any refund.

In the case of an Annual subscription, the refund will be calculated as below:

Annual subscription paid - (Quarterly subscription rate * No. of Quarters) = Refund.

We do not have an auto-renewal concept. If you do not renew your subscription by the end of the period, you will automatically cease to lose all the benefits of subscription use. It is purely kept to ensure that the Founders are in absolute control of their subscription. Hence, we highly recommend you stay for the whole period of subscription to avail the benefits.

If you want to add a new email address for a new startup, just create a new Founder’s account with your new email address.

If you want to change your email address for an existing startup, then go to the Profile Tab → Edit Profile. You can change the email address.

Please note that for ease of use/convenience, we allow only one email ID per account.

If you are starting a new startup, create a new Founder’s Account.

If you are rebranding your existing startup, then follow My Profile → Edit. You can change all the fields that you filled during the signup process.

Under the Profile Tab → Account, the option to delete your account can be found. Upon confirmation, your account will be deleted.

When your Pitch deck and the outreach email have been reviewed and locked, you can proceed to My Prospects, select Investors, and send.

An email from pitchdeck@fundmypitchglobal.com will be generated in a format with your name and a link to the Pitch. The approved email will be sent to the Investor every time you select and email Investors.

This is a tricky question. Let us understand that the very purpose of reaching out to the Investor is to show them your ideas and seek funding.

You can never ensure 100% confidentiality of your Pitch. However, we have taken precautions to some extent to not divulge information to anyone and everyone. Hence, in your outreach email, only a link to the Pitch will be sent to the Investor. The Investor needs to log in to their account with FMPG and access the pitch. If they do not have an account, they must create one before viewing your deck.

Please be aware that the idea is to reach the Investors easily. The harder it is to access your pitch, the lower its reachability.

Please understand that your pitch is one among hundreds that land on the investor’s desk weekly. Investors do not have any compelling reason to sign an NDA with you. It is better not to insist on an NDA.

However, once the Investor has shown interest and requested more information, then you may consider signing one.

That’s a good question. To protect the majority of your information, keep the deck crisp and clear. Keep all backups for your financial projections, market research, and any scientific data/analysis outside the deck.

This way, you can ensure that only the necessary information for your pitch is shared with the Investor.

Your outreach email is the first thing an Investor will view. Give a one-line introduction about yourself. In your pitch deck, you can provide a brief profile of yourself and your team.

Basic details such as Geography, Domain, Stage of funding, and round size along with the Project title will be visible. Upon clicking the link (after logging into the Portal), they will be able to view your Deck.

If an Investor expresses interest, they can request additional information from the Founder. Founders can choose to accept or ignore the request.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy, which you can find on the website. The link to the privacy policy you signed up for is provided here.

No, FMPG does not resell your data. Information that you share on the platform is available only to Investors who have created an account with us.

The FMPG team has access to your data for normal business operations and performance of our service, including support, analytics, and deal screening.

Our internal team reviews each and every pitch deck and outreach email. This is only for review and comment purposes.

Our Investor database comprises a list we have compiled based on publicly available information. While onboarding, we also conduct a basic verification based on the information available on websites and media.

As a founder, we explicitly recommend you do your own verification and due diligence before sending your proposal. We are not responsible for any damage or loss that you incur.

Partners who provide core services are onboarded based on their profile, reviews, and past experiences in the areas of startup fundraising. Some of them are experts from top business schools and major consulting firms who have chosen to work part-time purely out of passion and the fun of working on your pitch.

While we rely on their profile descriptions and experience from publicly available sites, we urge you to do your own due diligence before hiring them.

Partners who provide allied services are onboarded with basic verification from websites and other publicly available information. We do not vouch for their experience and credentials.

No. These are specialized services provided by experts. We only shortlist and onboard them on our platform to assist our Founders.

Founders need to pay them as per the agreed price for each service.

Under the Partner’s Hub tab, you can select the services for which you need assistance. The search will provide you with a list of Partners who provide these services.

Along with the list, you will find a brief about each Partner as described by them and their charges. You can select a Partner and submit a request for services. Within 24 hours of raising the Service Request (SR), you will get a confirmation from the Partner or a non-acceptance. In case of non-acceptance, you may select another Partner.

Once the SR is accepted, you can share the necessary documents with the Partner. When the deliverables are completed, the Partner will raise a service completion request on the platform. You may accept or reject the same within a week. The service will be deemed accepted if you do not explicitly reject it, and the charges will become due.

Please note that if you are rejecting the service completion, provide a valid reason. Understand that these are professionals who are providing their service and time for you. Please be professional in your approach and do not reject services for frivolous reasons.

You have every right to reject the service if the deliverables do not conform to the agreed scope. In such a case, you do not have to pay for any services that lack completeness.

However, we wouldn’t recommend going down that road. Instead, define the scope of your work clearly and set the right expectations. Communicate with the Partners frequently to avoid ending up in a situation of impasse.

Remember! At the end of the day, it is your project that will be delayed.
